Since I began writing these posts, I have continually asked for feedback and constructive criticism. I realize I am not the authority. I am only one woman who is trying to follow God’s direction and do my best at being His daughter, a wife, and a mother. But, while I asked for suggestions, I need to be open and coachable. Otherwise, I will never improve.
Some of you have probably been wondering about the weekly updates (or lack thereof) for our Family Meetings. Well, I am going to ask you to refer to the tagline of this site, Our family’s journey to find faith and joy. (Emphasis on the word, journey.)
Like everyone else, we were busier and had more abbreviated Family Meetings lately. Some were held in the car; others, over dinner. Did we talk as a family? Absolutely. Were they effective? Not so much…

Unbelievably, the first book I have finished is actually the first on my list! Now, this usually NEVER happens! I have a tendency to start one book, then hear about a new one, and leave the first on a pile on my nightstand…
